Palatine Street Fest 2020 Cancelled

The annual 3-day Downtown Palatine event is canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Village announced.

PALATINE, IL — The Village of Palatine has canceled this year's Street Fest scheduled for Aug. 28 through 30 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and "related uncertainties," officials announced Wednesday morning. The anticipated annual event takes place in Downtown Palatine, and has been a summer staple since 2000 thanks to three days of live music, local food and drinks, family entertainment and activities. The Village said they look forward to seeing Street Fest return in 2021.

"The Village would like to thank all of our past Street Fest participants including attendees, volunteers, food vendors, non-profit organizations, sponsors, and performers as all of them have played a critical role in the event and its past success," the Village said in a statement posted to Facebook.
