Mauricio Orozco, a District 211 graduate himself, focuses on engaging Spanish-speaking students, building bridges between special education and mainstream peers, and helping colleagues rethink how much students talk and think in class.

4. Illinois House could vote on bill banning rental junk fees this spring (wandtv.com) — Palatine-area State Rep. Nabeela Syed is helping lead a push in Springfield to ban surprise “junk fees” in rental leases statewide, requiring all mandatory fees to appear on the first page.
