PALATINE, IL — A Palatine man is accused of stealing a refrigerator and other appliances during two separate apartment burglaries in the same building nearly a month a part, according to police. Bismark A. Lopez-Salgado, 22, of the 1500 block of North Winslowe Drive, faces two felony burglary counts stemming from an incident in August and an incident last week, Palatine police said in a statement Friday.
Officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress just before 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, in the 1500 block of North Winslowe Drive. According to police, Lopez-Salgado was seen outside the apartment where the crime had happened.
