Teen Hospitalized After Dirt Bike Crash In Palatine
Palatine police officers were called just before 2 p.m. to the 300 block of North Lytle Drive for the reported crash, the Daily Herald said.
PALATINE, IL — The Palatine Police Department said they're investigating after a teen was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon, according to the Daily Herald. Palatine police said officers were called just before 2 p.m. to the 300 block of North Lytle Drive after a motorcycle "dirt bike" left the road and hit a tree, according to the news report. Crews at the crash site found the 16-year-old rider suffering critical injuries, and the rider was taken immediately by Palatine Fire Department paramedics to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, the Daily Herald said.
The teen was then taken by helicopter to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
