UPS Worker Claims Noose Was Hanging Outside Shipping Facility

The employee got a 'sick feeling in his stomach,' but UPS rep says they were temporary pull ropes.

PALATINE, IL — A man claimed to have found nooses hanging outside a Palatine shipping facility. WGN News reported that Rashaun Granberry, a seasonal UPS employee, had a "sick feeling in his stomach when he saw them," and that he thinks it was done on purpose.

WGN News reported that a spokesperson for UPS says that's not the case at all, and what is in the picture are temporary pull ropes that were used to cover large equipment. She also said the ropes were removed once the employee complained.
