Virus Closes Palatine Polling Place
Those in the 14th ward have a new location to vote at for Tuesday's elections.

St. Joseph’s Home at 80 W. Northwest Hwy. in Palatine is experiencing a norovirus outbreak and was placed on quarentine April 3. Even though the virus is nearing its end, the location cannot serve as a polling place for those in the 14th ward, the Chicago SunTimes is reporting.
“The norovirus outbreak was first discovered March 31 and appears to be nearing its end,” Sister Diane of St. Joseph’s Home told the SunTimes.” But she said it occurred at an “unfortunate time” with the Easter holiday and election.”
The new polling place will be the Palatine Public Library at 700 N. North Ct.
