Woman Stabbed During Domestic Dispute: Police
A 45-year-old man was taken into custody following the incident Saturday at a Palatine condominium complex.

PALATINE, IL — A 39-year-old woman was stabbed in the stomach during a domestic dispute Saturday morning at a condominium complex, according to Palatine police. A 45-year-old man has been taken into custody stemming from the incident.
Police were called about a stabbing just before 8 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at Windhaven Condominiums in the 0-100 block of Dundee Quarter Drive. When officers reached the scene, they found a woman with a stab wound to the stomach in the complex's common outdoor area, police said. Paramedics treated the woman at the complex before taking her to Lutheran General Hospital.
After talking to the woman, police determined that she was stabbed during an earlier domestic dispute. Officers apprehended a suspect in the stabbing while he was walking near the intersection of Rand Road and Winslow Drive about an hour after the initial call, according to authorities.

Police did not indicate if charges had been filed against the suspect yet. Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
