WHEATON, IL — Residents are invited to attend a public meeting of the Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. to discuss proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance for the Roosevelt Road Corridor.

The meeting comes after an Aug. 13 meeting was continued, and the design proposal was amended to reflect changes inspired by feedback from residents and board members.

The proposed rezoning aims to accommodate developments that are "appropriate for the area, responsive to existing conditions and respectful of residential areas adjacent to this corridor," per an update from the City of Wheaton.
