700,000 Tulips, 30 Varieties, 8 Acres: Kuipers Midwest Tulip Fest Set To Open This Week

The fest at Kuipers Family Farm is currently set to open April 23, weather permitting.

MAPLE PARK, IL — The beautiful and vibrant colors of over 700,000 tulips are set to return to Kuipers Family Farm for the highly anticipated Midwest Tulip Fest, opening on April 23, 2025* for the fourth year in a row. Located at 1N318 Watson Road in Maple Park, IL, the farm has expanded this year, planting over 700,000 tulip bulbs across eight acres, featuring 30 different varieties of tulips.

The festival marks the official start of spring, with tulips in full bloom offering the perfect backdrop for families, couples, and friends to celebrate the season. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the blooms, cut and take their own bouquet home while also taking part in fun farm activities, and indulge in a variety of food and drink offerings.
