Yorkville Woman Accused Of Stealing Lotto Tickets: Police Reports

YORKVILLE, IL — The Yorkville Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff's office responded to the following crime reports this week:
Retail theft
The Yorkville Police Department reported that Brianna P. Walter, 24, from the 8000 block of Van Emmon Street in Yorkville was arrested at 10:38 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of South Bridge Street on accusations of stealing lottery tickets from a business. She was released and given a court date.

Violation of order of protection
Michael E. Piatek, 19, listed as homeless, was arrested Wednesday on accusations of violating an order of protection. According to the sheriff's office report, he has not been released.

Felony retail theft
Timothy E. Genge, 24, from the 1600 block of Reckinger Road in Aurora was booked in the Kendall County Jail Wednesday on accusations of retail theft stemming from a May 19 incident. He was sentenced to 17 days in jail for a felony retail theft charge, and is scheduled to be released on June 27.
Meth possession
Daveon H. Lucas, 20, from the 2800 block of Spruce Street in Rock Falls was arrested on accusations of meth possession. He was released from custody Wednesday, with a future court date not specified in the sheriff's office report.
Domestic battery, resisting or obstructing a peace officer or correctional institution employee, more
Maida Granados, 39, from the 800 block of Victoria Drive in Montgomery was transferred from the Kane County Jail Tuesday, and faces two charges of violation of bail bond, four charges of domestic battery — insulting/provoking, two charges of resisting or obstructing a peace officer or correctional institution employee, and misdemeanor criminal damage to property. According to the sheriff's office report, she has not been released.
