Arlington Annual Holiday Event Is Fast Apporaching

The Holiday Stroll contains festivities for people of all ages.

ARLINGTON, MA — The town announced that its annual Holiday Stroll and Tree lighting event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13 at Arlington Heights.

The festivities begin at 2 p.m. with holiday-themed photo opportunities, a children's craft activity taught by local artist Tonya Grifkin, and the Touch-a-Truck hosted by the police and fire departments.

Santa will arrive at the ACMI Studio on 85 Park Ave. at 3 p.m. for photo opportunities. 45 minutes later, Denise Lotufo and Telden Lopes-Lotufo will perform a live orchestral performance at The Roasted Granola Cafe on 1346 Mass Ave. Margaret Moody and her puppets will perform "Taking Turns" for children aged three to eight at Kumon Math and Learning Center just a few doors down at 4 p.m.

Choral performances by the Arington High School Madrigal Singers and the Park Avenue Congregational Church Singers will provide the atmosphere for the tree lighting, all of which will be held outside of the ACMI Studio at 5 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public, with parking available at Arlington Coal and Lumber on 41 Park Ave., according to the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
