Heavy House Fire Extinguished In Arlington

The two-alarm blaze broke out on Thursday evening.

ARLINGTON, MA — The fire department worked to extinguish a two-alarm fire at the home on 57 Warren St. Thursday.

Firefighters responded to the scene of the two and a half story home before 5 p.m. Thursday evening to discover heavy smoke and flames emanating from the top of the structure. The flames reportedly originated from a ceiling fan in a bathroom and extended up into the attic. According to Captain Dan Kerr, no one was injured and the official cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Cambridge, Medford, Somerville, Woburn, Belmont, and Lexington fire departments provided mutual aid on the scene.
