Due to limited availability of tests to date, officials do not believe this is an accurate count of the actual spread of the virus in the Arlington community. More testing will occur as a result of approval from the governor to increase the number of available tests, while also lifting test restrictions. Residents should expect the number of positive tests to continue to increase. Residents are urged to follow the restrictions and guidance issued by the town and Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Public safety and other essential services will continue with special precautions to keep these employees safe. As the town takes these steps to reduce the spread of coronavirus, officials ask you to do your part and follow the CDC guidelines.
