Coronavirus In Arlington: 4 Positive Cases, Town Offices Closed

Arlington health officials said the number coronavirus cases in town could rise with expanded testing.

ARLINGTON, MA — Four Arlington residents have tested positive for the new coronavirus, town said Sunday. The cases are "presumptive positive," which means the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still needs to verify the test results. All residents who tested positive are self-quarantining.

Health officials are still awaiting test results of a child whose parent attended a Biogen conference in Boston last month. The parent tested negative for coronavirus, or COVID-19.

Due to the limited availability of testing, Arlington health officials said the actual number of coronavirus cases in town could actually be higher.
