Second Coronavirus Case Confirmed At Arlington Whole Foods
A spokesperson for Whole Foods said a second worker at its Arlington store has tested positive for the coronavirus.

ARLINGTON, MA — A second employee of Whole Foods Market in Arlington has tested positive for the coronavirus, a spokesperson for the chain said. Another worker at the supermarket previously tested positive in March.
"The safety of our Team Members and customers is our top priority and we are diligently following all guidance from local health and food safety authorities," a Whole Foods spokesperson wrote in an email to Patch. "We've been working closely with our store Team Members, and are supporting the diagnosed Team Members, who are in quarantine."
The chain said it has enhanced daily cleanliness and disinfection protocols across all stores and facilities, is implementing proper social distancing and crowd control measures, has installed sneeze guards at checkout and is requiring temperature checks for anyone working in its stores and facilities.

Whole Foods stores are closing up to two hours early to give workers more time to restock shelves, sanitize stores and rest.
There were 105 cases of the coronavirus in Arlington as of Thursday.
