• Beverly Main Streets Names New Executive Director (patch.com) — Beverly Main Streets has hired longtime North Shore resident Danielle Payant as its new executive director, succeeding Erin Truex at the end of 2025. Payant brings extensive international nonprofit and community-building experience and says she’s focused on strengthening downtown Beverly through inclusion, partnerships, and close collaboration with residents and business owners. 
• Local Students Named to Honor Lists (thetowncommon.com) — Several Beverly students have earned spots on the University of Connecticut Dean’s List for fall 2025, highlighting strong academic achievement beyond the city. They’re joined by many North Shore neighbors honored at colleges across the country, from Lebanon Valley and Lasell to Southern New Hampshire University, showcasing regional students’ success.
• Three straight: Fishermen escape Beverly with another win (cnhi.com) — Beverly High’s girls basketball team fell just short at home Tuesday, dropping a tight 61–58 contest to visiting Gloucester despite leading most of the night. Beverly’s Clara Kostro, Kayla Everett, and Marissa Hutton paced the Panthers, but Gloucester’s late free throws and defense in Beverly’s Henry Cabot Lodge Fieldhouse sealed the Fishermen’s third straight win.
