• Malden Acquires Unique Wheelchair To Improve Children's Accessibility (patch.com) — Malden has secured a specialized GRIT Junior All Terrain wheelchair through a grant from the Reeve Foundation, boosting outdoor accessibility for local children. Housed at Beebe School on Pleasant Street, the chair will rotate among schools and recreational programs, helping kids navigate snow, gravel, mud, sand, and grass more safely and independently.
   

• Massachusetts man accused of threatening to kill co-workers, busted with lots of drugs (bostonherald.com) — A Malden workplace was reportedly threatened when a man allegedly arrived with a gun and said he would kill staff, prompting a police alert. He was later arrested in Winthrop, where officers say they found a loaded firearm and a large quantity of drugs in his car. The suspect is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
