Marlborough Cops Participate In No Shave November

Some Marlborough officers are going to look rather scruffy to support Cops For Kids With Cancer.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—The Marlborough Police Department is joining other departments across the state to participate in No Shave November to raise money for Cops for Kids With Cancer.

The participating bearded men in blue donate a minimum of $100 (or more) and are allowed to grow their beards for the entire month of November. All officers must be clean shaven on Dec. 1st 2017 @ 0000 hours (reported on purpose in military time).

Cops for Kids with Cancer is a 501,3,c charitable organization out of Braintree that gives money to families with children who have cancer for transportation, rent, hotels and more. Thus far, the charity has no paid employees and more than 94 percent of the money raised is given to the families. Lt Bill Coulter of the Mass State Police is chairman of the board and a survivor of cancer himself.
