1-Month-Old Safe After Reported Kidnapping Case Ends In Medford
Police said a man was taken into custody and the child was being evaluated by EMS.
MEDFORD, MA — A 1-month-old child is safe after a vehicle connected to an alleged kidnapping at South Station was located in Medford Wednesday night, according to MBTA Transit Police.
Police said a man was taken into custody and the child was being evaluated by EMS.
The man was allegedly a relative of the infant and had “ forcefully removed the infant from the mother & fled” Wednesday evening, police said.

TPD noted the infant appeared unharmed and was reunited with the mother.
