Arts Collaborative Medford announces new music collaboration
Partnership with Down By Riverside will support music makers in performance
Arts Collaborative Medford (ACM), Medford’s first gathering place for creative community, is launching a new music program to raise up local independent musicians and create a dedicated, accessible space for making beautiful sounds of all kinds. ACM is committed to paying all musicians for their talent, expertise, and hard work. We plan to establish a performance pipeline for accessible live music in Medford by providing indoor space where individuals and groups can perform, as well as reasonable payment for all performers.
To move us far down this new path, we are delighted to announce an exciting new collaboration with Down By Riverside, a Medford-based organization with the mission to create spaces where people can come together, share their stories, and find common ground through musical expression. The professional-level state-of-the-art sound equipment provided by DBR, including speakers, amps, mixing board, and sound treatment, will bring music performance in Medford to a whole new level. This signifies a new era of creative collaboration in our city and demonstrates the power we can collectively generate.
To bring the public into this campaign, we are holding an online auction (https://givebutter.com/c/QzbITp), which features new items to bid on every week. Auction items include:

Medford musician Mike Quinn says, “It is really special when art and music converge in one location at the same time. Arts Collaborative Medford is set to become an exciting place to do both. ACM can bring together community members from all corners of town. Music has a vital role to play in promoting community, by providing space for our residents to come together, interact, and enjoy entertainment in their neighborhoods. And ACM is laying important groundwork for our community members to come together on a more regular basis. I am really excited to see this important program launch!”
