Back To School: See Medford Public Schools 2023-24 School Calendar

MEDFORD, MA — School begins next week for Medford Public Schools, and calendars are available to help parents prepare for the upcoming school year.

Though some dates are subject to change, here is the list of dates to know for 2023-24.

• Aug. 30, first day of school
• Sept. 4, no school for Labor Day
• Sept. 6, kindergarten first day of school
• Sept. 22, half day
• Sept. 25, no school for Yom Kippur
• Oct. 9, no school for Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day
• Oct. 18, half day
• Nov. 7, no school for professional development day/Election Day
• Nov. 10, no school for Veterans Day
• Nov. 22, half day
• Nov. 23-24, no school for Thanksgiving holiday
• Dec. 13, half day
• Dec. 22, half day
• Dec. 25-Jan 1, New Year Break
• Jan. 10, half day
• Jan. 15, no school for Martin Luther King Jr. holiday
• Feb. 7, half day
• Feb. 19-23, Winter Break
• March 13, half day
• March 29, no school for Good Friday
• April 10, no school for Eid al-Fitr
• April 15-19, Spring Break

• June 5, Medford High School and Curtis-Tufts High School graduations
