Cedric The Entertainer, On Heels Of Emmy's Nod, Coming To Medford
The legendary comic will host the TV awards show in September. But first he's stopping at the Chevalier Theatre this summer.
MEDFORD, MA — Stand-up comedian Cedric the Entertainer will perform at Medford's Chevalier Theatre this month.
The comic's 30-year career has spanned television and movies, including memorable roles in the "Barbershop" franchise, "Johnson Family Vacation" and "The Original Kings of Comedy." He currently stars in the CBS comedy "The Neighborhood" and co-stars alongside Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish in "The Last O.G." on TBS.
Cedric was announced as the host of this year's Emmy Awards on Monday. It will be his first time hosting the show, which will air live Sept. 19.

Cedric will perform at the Chevalier Theatre Friday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $39 to $69.
