Every so often, there’s a spike in the number of abandoned, surrendered, and homeless pets needing adoption into loving, forever homes. When that happens, Kitty Connection, a non-profit rescue organization that facilitates pet adoptions throughout Eastern Massachusetts, offers special discounts on adoption of cats that have been under the care of its network of volunteer foster homes for a while, in order to make room for more. Morgan Blue and Lily (below) and several others are among the “Clear the Rescue” discounted adoptees currently available.
Morgan Blue – Five-year-old Morgan Blue is still sad about losing his home and needs a patient adopter who will give him time to warm up. Already, he loves chin scratches, belly rubs and relaxing with you on the couch. This sweet, energetic boy gets along well with other cats and should go to a home with another playful feline – maybe yours!
Lily –Three-year-old Lily does well with people of all ages, but not other cats or dogs, so she needs to be an only-pet. She loves her prescription diet (for prior bladder stones, which are now gone) and playing with a laser pointer. She’s also a fan of sunning herself, sitting on laps, and accepting lots of love from her humans. She can’t wait to meet her new family!
