Body Found Along I-93 In Medford Causes Long Delays

MEDFORD, MA — Long traffic delays along I-93 in Medford Tuesday morning were caused by lane closures after a body was found along the highway, according to reports.

The body was found around 4:30 a.m., state police told the Boston Globe. An investigation closed two southbound lanes near exit 21 at the Somerville line.

MassDOT had initially reported the death as "due to a crash investigation involving a fatality."
