Man And His Dog Injured In Medford Crash: Report

MEDFORD, MA — A man was hospitalized after being hit by a car on the Mystic Valley Parkway, according to a report from WCVB NewsCenter 5.

The collision took place between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Wednesday morning on Lakeview Avenue.

The man, who was approximately 70 years of age, was walking his dog when they were both struck by the vehicle. The dog also received veterinary treatment. Both are expected to survive. The female driver reportedly remained on scene after the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
