Medford High Schooler Attacked By 2 Other Students, Mom Says
The 15-year-old girl's mother said threats began months ago and school administrators were not able to stop the bullying.
MEDFORD, MA — A Medford High School sophomore was viciously attacked by two other students on Monday, Oct. 17, sending her to the emergency room, her mom told NBC 10 Boston.
The 15-year-old girl's mother, Nicole, said the two girls who attacked her daughter began threatening to kill her months ago and school administrators were not able to stop the bullying, NBC reported.
Nicole told NBC she has taken out a restraining order against her daughter’s attackers and is pressing assault and battery charges. However, she is concerned about what will happen when the two students return from their 10-day suspensions.

"Violence of any kind and in any manner has absolutely no place in Medford High School or in our school district; fighting will not be tolerated, and any students found to have caused physical harm to another will be held accountable,” Dr. Marice Edouard-Vincent wrote. "As a mother, as an educator, and as your superintendent, to know that a student was injured at school is abhorrent to me.”
Edouard-Vincent said she is working with Medford High School Principal Paul D’Alleva to ensure that the school is safe and welcoming for all students.
The superintendent also said the district has involved the Medford Police Department to investigate last week’s attack.
