Medford Middle Schoolers Collect Donations For Ukraine

McGlynn students collected items like bandages, gauze, flashlights and other necessities, which will be shipped to refugee organizations.

MEDFORD, MA — Students at the McGlynn Middle School came together Friday in support of Ukraine.

The Center for Citizenship and Social Responsibility (CCSR) led the school in wearing blue and yellow in solidarity with Ukraine. Students also collected items that will be shipped to refugee organizations in Ukraine and Romania.

These items included bandages, gauze, ibuprofen, flashlights, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

The CCSR is an organization funded by grants from The Cummings Foundation and The Krystle Campbell Betterment Project.
