Medford Police To Participate in National Drug Take Back Day

Residents are invited to stop by City Hall or Wegman's on Oct. 29 to expose of expired or unused medications.

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford Police Department will be participating in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents are invited to stop by City Hall, located at 85 George P. Hassett Drive, or at Wegman’s, located at 3850 Mystic Valley Parkway, to discard expired or unused medications.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for misuse of medications. For more information, click here.
