Medford Police Report Spike In Car Break-Ins, Warn Residents

Medford Police said a spike in car break-ins occurred overnight in the Lawrence Estates and West Medford area.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford Police have reported a spike of car break-ins during the overnight hours in the Lawrence Estates and West Medford area.

In a post over Twitter, police said the cars all had one thing in common: they were all unlocked at the time of the break-ins.

Police urged Medford residents not to leave your car unlocked when heading in for the night, and not to leave valuables inside.
