Medford Public Schools Remain In Session, Afternoon Events Canceled
Medford public school students should be picked up by 4 p.m., according to the district's website.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford Public Schools will be in session Tuesday, but all afternoon and extracurricular activities will be canceled due to inclement weather.
The district made the announcement on its website.
After School Childcare at the four elementary schools will take place; however, parents are asked to pick up students by 4 p/m/ to ensure that all staff and students can get home safely.

According to the National Weather Service, the Tuesday afternoon forecast is for snow, possibly mixed with rain. Breezy, with a north wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is possible.
