Medford Recruiting Snow Shovelers
The city is seeking residents who are available to help their less-abled peers.
MEDFORD, MA — The city is looking for residents interested in joining its annual list of snow shovelers.
Each winter season, the city gathers a list of community members and organizations who are able to provide snow shoveling and removal services to others who are unable.
Shovelers are able to be paid, but must arrange it directly with the recipient of the services.
Interested parties are encouraged to send their names, contact information, and which regions of the city they would be able to shovel to Director of Elder Affairs Pam Kelly. A completed criminal offender record information form is also required.
