New Brewery Now Open In Medford
The Medford Brewing Company's taproom opened in West Medford over the weekend.
MEDFORD, MA — The Greater Boston area’s newest craft beer destination is now open in Medford, owners announced over the weekend.
Launched in 2015 as a contract brewer, Medford Brewing Company now has a taproom in West Medford at 30 Harvard Ave.
The space opened on Saturday night and has since welcomed guests.

Brewery owners had pursued the idea of a taproom in the past, recently working with city officials and others to secure a location and necessary permitting.
Medford Brewing launched a crowdfunding campaign to help open its brewery, bringing in more than $280,000 through that route.

An investor packet shared through the crowdfunding campaign detailed success following Medford Brewing’s launch as a contract seller, touting sales in 135 locations with new locations being added regularly.
An envisioned taproom, owners said, would look to be a community space, eventually also introducing local food vendors including food trucks.
Medford Brewing is the creation of Max Heinegg and Nick Bolitho, as noted on its website.
Medford Brewing is currently open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. Hours are 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday. Thursday, Friday and Saturday hours run from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. while Sunday hours are 12 p.m. to 6 p.m
