These two boys just want to have fun! There will be no shortage of classic cat antics in store for the people who adopt Zeus or Timmy, two male cats available through Kitty Connection, an all-volunteer rescue organization that facilitates pet adoptions throughout Greater Boston and the North and South Shores. They are both searching for loving, forever homes – maybe yours.
Zeus
Three-year-old Zeus is curious and playful and loves to follow his foster mom around the house, giving her affectionate head bumps along the way. When he’s not playing with his toys, Zeus likes to bask in the sun on a window perch or lounge on the couch to watch TV – he really watches! He would do best in a home that has at least one other cat for him to play with. Although a family with young children would not be a good fit for him, Zeus might adjust well to living with a calm dog.

Timmy
Timmy, an 18-week-old kitten who was born outside, was luckily rescued by volunteers early enough to become a domestic pet. His story illustrates why it’s important for people who see stray or feral kittens to call for a rescue right away. This playful youngster loves to wrestle with the two-year-old cat in his foster home, so would ideally be adopted into a home with another kitty who likes playing a little rough! Timmy also likes playing with his foster parents and sleeping on their bed at night and is becoming less bashful and more trusting every day. Timmy is still working on his shyness, though, and needs a home where people are home a lot to give him attention and TLC.
