Report: Drunk Woman Boards Bus Filled With Medford Students
The bus driver reportedly confused the suspect for a student's parent.

An intoxicated woman was able to gain entry onto a Medford school bus filled with young kids last Friday after she frantically chased after the driver, WHDH, 7-News reports.
The driver reportedly believed the woman to be a parent of a student on the bus. When at the corner of High Street around 3 p.m., he opened the door and allowed her to board.
According to police, the driver asked the woman to leave the bus, but she refused to comply on multiple occasions.

A passerby was then able to reportedly talk the woman into exiting the bus. Eighteen students witnessed the incident unfold. They were left unharmed.
Medford Superintendent Roy Belson said he is disturbed by the incident. “Protocol is you don’t open the door,” Belson told the news station. He also said such an incident “won’t happen again.”

The suspect was not arrested, but could face a charge of trespassing.
