Kitty Connection, an all-volunteer rescue organization that facilitates pet adoptions throughout Greater Boston and the North and South Shores, connects hundreds of abandoned, orphaned and surrendered pets with caring humans every year. Adoptees come in all shapes and sizes. This month, Kitty Connection is looking for people to open their homes to a small, injured kitten and a chunky little dog – as well as numerous other companion animals who need forever homes.
Paige
At just four-and-a-half months, Paige already has her paws full. This active calico kitten hurt her hind leg jumping around with her litter mates and now needs surgery to fix it. She must wait until she is ten months old and finished growing for the surgery, however, and needs careful supervision until then. Ideally, Paige needs someone who will foster her through the surgery, with Kitty Connection’s support, and then adopt this playful girl into her forever home. Since Paige’s vets are in the Greater Medford vicinity, she also needs an adopter who lives in that area. Until her surgery, Paige needs to be crated when she isn’t supervised so she doesn’t hurt herself more. Otherwise, she’s a happy, hop-along kitty who does fine on flat surfaces and likes sleeping on a cushion near her humans. She’s hoping for a special adopter, maybe one with another gentle cat to keep her company, or one interested in also adopting one of her litter siblings.

Jake
Jake is a two-year-old French bulldog mix who was surrendered to Kitty Connection when his owner was evicted and couldn’t keep him. Friendly and loveable, he’s great with other dogs and people of all ages. This pup with a big personality loves to run and play with his ball and his repertoire of “tricks” includes sitting and giving his paw. He’d also love to give a lifetime of companionship and love and can’t wait to move into his forever home.
