Variety is the Spice!

Bessie and Fozzie need forever homes

Like people, pets come in all shapes and sizes, with personalities as diverse as their looks. The two cats below are great examples – one a petite older lady who likes to snuggle, one a husky young guy trying to find his place in the world. Both are among many cats (and dogs) waiting for adoption through

Kitty Connection, a volunteer rescue organization that facilitates pet adoptions throughout Eastern Massachusetts.

Bessie

This love bug is about 10 years old, undemanding and easy-going. Bessie appreciates getting head scratches during her daily naps and snuggling up with you on the couch or at bedtime. She does well with other animals and children. Besides love (which she’ll reciprocate!), all Bessie needs is an adopter willing to monitor her recently diagnosed and treated heart murmur.

Fozzie

Big, furry and handsome, it’s hard to imagine why Fozzie’s owners abandoned him when they moved. But this two-year-old did his best, joining a feral colony for a month before volunteers captured him and realized he’d once been a pet. He’s adjusting well to being an indoor housecat again, but still shy and quiet during the day. He’s more active at night, but still quiet as he prowls the house. If you can provide love, patience and hefty meals, Fozzie’s your guy.

Bessie and Fozzie are spayed and neutered, respectively, and are current with vaccines. To adopt them or other available pets, visit our website (www.kittyconnection.net) and send a pre-adoption application to kc@kittyconnection.net.
