Busy Melrose Street Getting New Sidewalks
The work is being done by Newport Construction.
MELROSE, MA — The city announced an ongoing construction project that will be ongoing on one of its most significant streets.
Sidewalk reconstruction began on both sides of West Wyoming Avenue this past weekend between Ravine Road and the Joseph T. Cefalo Memorial Complex. According to the police department, traffic in both directions will be uninterrupted unless some unforeseen circumstances arise and warrant a detour. Officers will consistently be placed on the scene to facilitate the flow of traffic.
The project is expected to last approximately three weeks.
