It’s July 3rd 2025, the day before I leave for my trip to Switzerland and Paris.
Ell Pond is quiet.
The grass has been mowed and the trees are tall and green and blowing in the gentle breeze.

The temperature is 84 degrees but I am able to sit in the car, in the shade, with my windows open.
It is beautiful and quiet, except for the soft songs of summer, that the leaves are creating as all the trees move in unison.

There are no dog walkers, and I have not seen any ducks go by on the slow moving pond.
Just July 3rd a welcomed and peaceful day, before I leave tomorrow to visit another part of the world.
