More Disruptions Hit Orange Line, Red Line, Green Line
The MBTA announced a series of planned weekend service disruptions across its subway network on Monday linked to work around Haymarket station, JFK/UMass and the new Medford/Tufts Green Line stop. The first of the disruptions will begin on Saturday just over a week after T officials confirmed previously unannounced issues that knocked several Orange Line train cars out of service.
Malden, Medford, Arlington, Woburn, Brookline and Newton are among communities receiving money for programs to promote fire safety among children and older adults.
