Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Portland, Maine, we are a leading curbside composting company in New England. From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

Melrose, MA - Superintendent of Schools Cyndy Taymore announced many updates at Tuesday's School Committee meeting, including information on a Melrose graduate who received an Advanced Placement Scholar Award from the state.Class of 2015 MHS graduate Ms. Katherine Ilia was selected by the College Board as the 2015 recipient of the State AP Scholar Award. Each year College Board selects only one female and one male from each state for this honor. The award is given to the students that have earned the most AP scores of 3 or higher statewide with an average of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken. The achievement marks a tremendous accomplishment for Katherine.
