Memorial Hall at 590 Main St. hosts approximately 800 people for various forms of entertainment, such as the oldest volunteer performing orchestra in the country: The Melrose Symphony Orchestra. Last year, the city was given a grant from the Metropolitan Area Planning Council to develop a strategic plan for the building's future.
