Melrose's The Bridge Seeks Donations Through Ongoing Fundraiser
The Bridge is seeking donated goods to serve as prizes in upcoming raffle and auction fundraisers.
The following is a press release from Melrose's The Bridge program.
Who doesn't love volunteers? Melrose's The Bridge is a school/community partnership that places volunteers in the Melrose Public Schools. Bridge volunteers enrich teaching and learning for students from preschool through high school. Bridge volunteers work in elementary libraries, serve as PTO leaders, chaperone field trips, share career information with students, and much more.
If you love volunteers -- and we know you do -- we've got an easy way to contribute to our earth-friendly, no cost, crowdsourced fundraiser.

The ask is easy: hunt through your home for those new items that weren’t quite right for one reason or another. Maybe you missed the return window of an online purchase and it sits in the back of your closet. Maybe you received a present and loved the thought but not-so-much the gift. Maybe you had lofty aspirations to be crafty or handy that just didn't come to fruition.
Whatever the reason, if it’s new and unused, we’ll use it as an item during The Bridge Annual Silent Auction or in one of our Trivia Bee gift basket raffles.

Between now and March 4th, drop your new and never used items to our Bridge Bin on the porch of 177 Bellevue Ave. While you're there, feel free to grab a donation receipt and feel great about supporting The Bridge!
The Bridge's annual Trivia Bee is in person again this year and we can't wait to see you there. Mark your calendar for March 25th. More information to come.
