$1M Mega Millions Lottery Ticket Sold In Newton
The ticket was one of two $1 million Mega Millions tickets sold in Massachusetts for Tuesday night's drawing.

NEWTON, MA — A lottery ticket sold in Newton this week ended up winning a $1 million prize for its buyer through the Mega Millions game, according to the Massachusetts Lottery.
While short of the jackpot, the million-dollar ticket was one of two tickets in Massachusetts that secured the second-tier Mega Millions prize on Tuesday night. Players need to match five numbers and the Mega Ball number in a given drawing to win the Mega Millions jackpot. The second-tier prize is awarded to tickets that match five numbers but miss the Mega Ball.
