2 Arrested After Road Rage Attack, Stabbing In Quincy

A 22-year-old woman suffered stab wounds to her head and arm in a road rage incident in Quincy Saturday, police said Monday.

QUINCY, MA — Two people, including a 16-year-old, have been arrested in connection with a road rage incident that led to a stabbing Saturday, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Authorities say they responded Saturday afternoon to Quincy Shore Drive at Bay State Road, where they found a Chevrolet Equinox and its driver, a 22-year-old woman with stab wounds to her head and arm.

The woman was treated at then released from Carney Hospital in Dorchester, while the suspects fled the scene in a 2008 Hyundai Elantra, police said.

Troopers found the driver of the Elantra, identified as 22-year-old Mindy Alleyne from Boston, at her residence on Blake Street with a 16-year-old who had been a passenger in her car at the time of the stabbing, according to authorities.

Both are facing charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, as Alleyne is accused of stabbing the woman with a pair of scissors while the teen is accused of kicking her in the head, police said.

Alleyne and the teen were taken into custody at the South Boston Barracks, police said, adding that Alleyne was ordered held by a bail clerk on $5,040 cash bail and the 16-year-old was released to her mother's custody.

Police say both are expected to be arraigned this week in Quincy District Court.
