Quincy 2nd Grade Student & Parent Hit By Car On Walk To School

The Clifford Marshall Elementary School principal issued a letter to the school community informing them of the accident.

QUINCY, MA — A Quincy parent was walking their second-grader to school Tuesday morning when the two were struck by a car.

Both were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following the crash, said Principal Nicholas Ahearn in a letter to the Clifford H. Marshall Elementary School community.

Several students witnessed the crash, and Ahearn says they all spoke with school administrators and guidance counselors to discuss the events of the accident. Ahearn says their parents were also notified.

"I know the thoughts and support of the whole school community will be with them during their recovery," Ahearn wrote.
