City of Somerville Opens 2023 Happiness Survey
The biennial survey gives community members an opportunity to rate personal happiness, wellbeing, and satisfaction.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The City of Somerville has opened its biennial Happiness Survey, which was mailed to a random sample of 5,000 residents in June and can now be completed online.
The survey gives residents and everyone engaged with Somerville's services an opportunity to rate personal happiness, wellbeing, and satisfaction.
The survey is available online in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Nepali, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese at somervillema.gov/HappinessSurvey.

The site also provides background information about the survey, along with data and results from 2011-2021 surveys.The survey will close on Tuesday, Aug. 15.

- Yes! We also welcome responses from people who work in Somerville, have children who attend a Somerville Public School, or have another strong connection to Somerville.

- Your demographic information will be used to ensure that the survey is representative but will not be used to identify you. Your responses will be combined with other residents’ responses to help inform decisions that support and enhance well being in Somerville. Results will be anonymous.
