I-93 Exit Closure Upcoming This Weekend
One Somerville exit will see extended shutdown during daytime and overnight hours.
SOMERVILLE, MA — The Department of Transportation announced an upcoming closure to the Maffa off-ramp on I-93 south later this week.
The area will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 12 between the overnight hours of 11 a.m. through 5 p.m. It will also be closed on Friday, Dec. 13 starting at 10 p.m. through 4 p.m. the next day, likely affecting daytime traffic.
According to MassDOT, signage and messaging will be in place to redirect traffic to the Broadway Street exit. Drivers are encouraged to expect delays during the closure.
