SOMERVILLE, MA — A third grade class at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Somerville surprised a UPS driver for his 30th birthday.

The class threw Tyler Kingsbury a birthday party on Feb. 16, greeting him with gifts, posters and smiles.

Kingsbury struck a special bond with the children, who call to him from their classroom window whenever he arrives in his delivery truck, asking him questions like "what's your favorite color?" or "when is your birthday?"
