The city of Somerville has received reports of people knocking on doors and impersonating Water and Sewer Department staff.

SOMERVILLE, MA – The city of Somerville has received reports of people impersonating Water and Sewer Department staff as part of a home improvement scam.

People have been knocking on doors and impersonating Somerville employees, requesting access to residents’ homes to perform water meter checks, the city said over Twitter.
