State Early Education Commissioner Coming To Somerville: Report

SOMERVILLE, MA — Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care Commissioner Amy Kershaw is coming to Somerville on Tuesday, May 13, according to a report from The Somerville Times.

The school district is welcoming Kershaw to celebrate the work of the Somerville Partnership for Young Children. The SPYC aims to expand access to early education opportunities for all families and invest in early education facilities. It is funded through Kershaw’s EEC as well as the Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative.

During her visit, Kershaw is scheduled to visit the Capuano Early Childhood Center and Elizabeth Peabody House. After that, she will host a roundtable discussion with SPYC leaders.
